The Most Impressive Firework Displays for the 4th of July

Yesterday was Independence Day in the United States, and many people throughout the world celebrated by spending time with family and watching glorious fireworks soar through the air. So, where are the best places to see the sky lit up in sparkling displays? Well, here's our list of the most amazing light shows around.

First is the show in Sydney, Australia. Just look at how many different options for fireworks there are to watch! A whopping three separate shows right next to each other, how amazing? If you ever happen to find yourself in the country for the 4th of July, consider yourself lucky!

Next is our nation's capital, Washington D.C.! As the sky lit up in red, white, and blue this year, many in the state gasped as the gorgeous firework show carried on. After such a tumultuous year, especially spending the majority of it inside, there's no denying that it was great for many to look up at the sky and see this beauty fill the air.

Now, let's travel over to Manhattan, New York, where rows and rows of fireworks flew over the river, giving onlookers not only an amazing show in the sky but double the excitement as it reflected off of the water! This year, the city was filled with residents who all cheered in amazement as the sky sparkled.

While it's the norm to watch Fourth of July celebrations from the ground, these people who happened to be staying at the Las Vegas Stratosphere Hotel and Casino yesterday got to see the show from the comfort of their rooms! And, in a unique twist, the display came right up to their windows! How about that for a front-row seat?

Last but certainly not least is Kentucky's Thunder Over Louisville fireworks, one of the biggest displays in North America. This year, thousands of people gathered to watch the sky light up in amazing color. While all of these dazzling shows made our jaws drop, we hope that the fireworks you saw this holiday made you smile.
